A soldier's review of the Oakley Half Jacket

When looking for opinions of the Oakley half Jacket, I stumbled across an e-pinion that stood out.

I wore these every single day in the desert and loved them. They're light and comfortable enough to wear all day, every day. Though the styling of the XLJ lenses is a little wild, but I chose them since it looked like they covered more of the eye and I'm glad I did. They provide better coverage of peripheral vision areas, as well as keep more wind and dust out of the eyes. They're not a substitute for goggles, but kept enough wind out to be worn in all but the windiest activities...
The sand storms of Iraq have been a thing of legend for years! Read more of his opinion here. If you're looking for your first pair of Oakley Sunglasses, the Flak Jacket might be a good one to start on.

Just be careful to check the seller's feedback rating and reputation - Foakleys (Fake Oakleys) are everywhere and not all dealers are 100% honest.
You have no need to worry about that at Fast Sunglass, where they only sell 100% Authentic Brand Merchandise. No fakes, no imitations. Nothing but the real brands at great customer service!

What Oakley's look like

Who is that good looking man in the Oakley Juliet sunglasses? That's a soldier supporting the Army football team!

He's chosen the Metal Frame with the Black Iridium lens, and I know for a fact that he's more attached to those glasses than some people are attached to their cars. Those glasses have been to Iraq and back. I can also say with a certain degree of confidence that when it comes to hitting the slopes, mountain biking, rock climbing, hiking or one of the weekly 5k races he likes to do, those sunglasses are his most reliable companion.

The durability of the Oakley Sunglasses has made it a household name. Their sleek, stylish design also makes them friendly towards athletes and non-athletes alike, though the subject of this post is obviously of the more active variety.

He got his Oakleys shortly before graduating from the prestigious United States Military Academy at West Point. That was a few years ago, and those glasses are still going strong.

If you're an active person who spends a lot of time outdoors, you should probably have your own pair of Oakley Sunglasses at your disposal, because they have been the leaders in athletic eye wear for decades.

The man's sunglasses

When it comes to being stylish and manly, Oakley's are the sunglasses that can't be beat.

Their lenses come with a coating that prevents fogging in case of perspiration or humidity so what you see is always crystal clear! They're also impact resistant and offer full UV protection. Different glasses also offer different features so that the avid golfer and triathlete get the exact protection they need. My favorite, the Oakley Crosshair

My favorite pair of sunglasses are the Oakley Crosshair.

Having a pair of aviator sunglasses is almost cliche. Ever since Top Gun came out, it was all the rage! That was when Tom Cruise was still considered cool.

Bottom line, these glasses have never let me down. I've taken them running, rock climbing, camping and they've never slipped off my head, they've never gotten fogged up and they've never gotten uncomfortable. I sometimes forget that I even have them on. I've had them four years, there's not a single scratch on them!

That kind of comfort and durability is exactly what the Oakley brand made it's name on. They're the number one in eye protection for hardcore athletes. Even though their glasses run a little pricey, all you need is one pair to know that you get your money's worth and more! If you need, or want, a pair of your own, go to the place online that has the largest selection of discount sunglasses and the fastest shipping!

The Oakley Radar Pitch

Are you a marathon or a mega marathon runner? How about a triathlete? Maybe you're into things like the famed Ironman competition!

Then the Oakley Radar might be for you. These glasses were the originally to have an interchangeable lens design allowing athletes to compete in every kind of light.

It also has Oakley's patented hydrophobic design, keeping sweat and water from obstructing the athlete's vision. The lens also repels oils that naturally occur on the skin! A great plus for athletes who can't stop to clean their lens in the middle of a competition.

My favorite is the Oakley Radar Pitch because it comes in the standard black, blues, silver and flame red! Fame red or cherry red happens to be my favorite color. I not only compete better in it, I also look better! When it comes to sports, you can never have enough good luck on your side and in my culture, red is the luckiest!

It was the first "must-have" eye protection for those who are active and has stayed ahead of the game with constant innovation. Would you like your own pair of Oakley Radar Pitch Sunglasses? Go to Fast Sunglass who have the largest selection of discount sunglasses on the web!

This Medic's favorite glasses

My friend, the Combat Medic who is crouched so panther-like on that rock, is wearing the Oakley M Frame Hybrid S Glasses. These bad boys have been worn through several military engagements as well as countless training scenarios.

These M Frame Hybrid S is great for military folks because they are approved eye protection for all scenarios, including on a rifle range where there are strict requirements that must be met with the eye protection. Their most important feature is the side protection - note how the sides of the wrap around towards the temple. This allows for maximum protection from flying debris and shrapnel! This means that no matter what the angle, your eyes are protected.

A soldier is of very little use without his eyes! If you can't shoot, you're not combat effective. That's why soldiers take such great precautions.

The Combat Medic has always declared this pair of sunglasses his favorite because they've been with him so long and fit his face perfectly! They've got a secure, comfortable fit and have never been scratched or dented, in spite of years of abuse.

The Oakley Crosshair

The glasses I am wearing in that picture are called the Oakley Crosshair. They're made in the aviator style (think back to the days of Top Gun) in mind while also considering the rugged beating they would need to take when worn by some of the extreme athletes who love the Oakely brand.

Look at the stream that I am sitting in - in order to get there I had to go down an eight foot cliff that was mainly made of mud and roots, then I had to walk a ways across the rocky shore just to take this one photograph where the water looked so pristine.

There have been times where I took these glasses on long hikes, trails, climbs, ski trips and more, yet they have never gotten a scratch on them. They've also never fogged, no matter how much I was sweating or how humid the weather was. To me, these glasses are perfect!

If the chrome frame isn't for you, these glasses also come with a black iridium lens, and a gray lens and always with the Oakley Quality Guaranteed. These glasses are almost 5 years old, and they haven't let me down yet. How many brands can guarantee that type of durability?
